Balance Sheet for Interfund Activity
Due From GAAP Operating Fund/Due To GAAP Agency Fund Type
If an agency has an amount in a GAAP agency fund (FT 09) that belongs to another agency, a due from/due to transaction must be processed to record the accrued receivable and corresponding liability. This entry records the due from other agencies in an operating fund (the receiving agency) for amounts received from a GAAP agency fund (the sending agency).
- Use T-codes 115 and 116.
- T-codes 115 and 116 are balancing T-codes.
- T-codes 115 and 116 post as of the effective date of the transaction and generate T-codes 117 and 118 — reversing the effect of the transaction using the current system management date. If the transaction is backdated, the generated T-codes post in the next accounting period.
- General ledger entry is not necessary since GL accounts are within the T-codes.
- The AGL is required.
